Stegall Charitable Educational Foundation Scholarship

The Stegall Charitable Educational Foundation Scholarship provides semester awards to support students entering or attending college. Awards of $1,000 per semester (up to two semesters per year) assist with tuition, fees, room and board, books, and educational materials. Funds are paid directly to the college or university. Recipients must re-qualify each semester by maintaining academic eligibility and following the foundation's re-qualification process.

Open to high school seniors, graduates, and current college students entering a full-time college program within one year of the application deadline. First-time freshmen must have a high school GPA of at least 2.8 or ACT score of 18; college upperclassmen and transfer students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, be enrolled full-time (unless part-time status is required), and be in good academic standing. Preference is given to students with civic engagement or intent to pursue law.

Submit a completed scholarship application by the relevant deadline (July 1 or December 1) with sealed official transcripts or test scores, documentation of financial need, and registration for classes as required by the college; follow re-qualification instructions and submit term transcripts after each funded semester.
