Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) South Africa 2024

Information

The Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) is calling for proposals to fund centres that support SMMEs in innovation and entrepreneurship. The programme targets marginalised communities in South Africa and aims to fund up to eight centres with a grant of up to R700,000 each, to train a cohort of at least 30 SMMEs and help them develop skills and innovations in science and technology. The project duration can be up to 18 months.

Eligibility

Open to TIA investees/innovators funded through other organisations in the National System of Innovation who have created new centres or are interested in creating one, with priority for underserved regions.
