APS Minority Travel Fellowship Awards

The APS Minority Travel Fellowship Awards provide travel support for underrepresented minority students and trainees who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents to attend American Physiological Society conferences. The awards aim to increase participation of pre- and postdoctoral minority students in the physiological sciences. Eligible applicants include graduate students, postdoctoral trainees, and minority faculty from MBRS- or MARC-eligible institutions and participants in the APS Porter Development Program. Funds are intended to cover transportation, meals, and lodging.

Transportation, meals, and lodging; award amount $500.

Underrepresented minorities (African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, and Pacific Islanders) who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents; open to graduate students and postdoctoral students. Minority faculty at MBRS- or MARC-eligible institutions and students in the APS Porter Development Program are encouraged to apply.
