IGF 2024 Support for Global South Journalists

The Internet Governance Forum (IGF) offers a support initiative for journalists from the Global South to cover the IGF 2024, held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Selected journalists will gain networking opportunities with policymakers and experts, insights into digital governance issues, and a platform to amplify local perspectives in global digital discourse.

Networking with journalists, policymakers and experts; learning about digital governance issues; potential impact on reporting and advocacy.

Nationals of LDCs, LLDCs, SIDS, LICs, LMICs or Economies in Transition; at least 18 years old; currently employed or freelancing as a journalist with at least three years of experience covering tech or digital issues for a recognized media outlet.
