IUCN World Protected and Conserved Areas Congress 2027 Call for Content

The IUCN World Protected and Conserved Areas Congress 2027 invites individuals and organisations to submit ideas, research, experiences and solutions for contribution to its Technical Programme. Proposals can be submitted as sessions, presentations or e-posters addressing conservation challenges, innovation, evidence and practical outcomes within the Congress themes. The Congress will be held in Panama City, Panama, from 4 to 10 September 2027, and the Call for Content closes on 15 December 2026.

Opportunity to present or share research, ideas and solutions to a global conservation audience; inclusion in the Congress programme

The call is open to researchers, conservation practitioners, governments, Indigenous Peoples and local communities, youth and young professionals, civil society organisations, private-sector representatives, financial-sector stakeholders and other stakeholders working on conservation and sustainable development.
