British Academy ODA Global Innovation Fellowships: South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) 2025

The British Academy ODA Global Innovation Fellowships invite UK-based early- and mid-career researchers in the humanities and social sciences to develop their skills, networks and careers through a fellowship with SAIIA. The programme supports researchers to create new links beyond academia and to mobilise knowledge across sectors, addressing challenges with innovative approaches and solutions. Awards are provided to fund research-related activities under specified areas such as democracy and governance in Africa, climate finance, critical minerals, and transformative foresight.

Open to UK-based early- and mid-career researchers; must be in a discipline within the humanities or social sciences and at postdoctoral level after PhD; not open to postgraduate or master's students.
