Fulbright – Ministerio de Industria y Turismo Scholarships

The Fulbright – Ministerio de Industria y Turismo Scholarships are funded awards for professionals employed by Spain's Ministry of Industry and Tourism and its affiliated public bodies to undertake study, research or training at US institutions. They support a range of study levels (undergraduate, master, doctoral and professional development) and are intended to enable participants to apply the acquired knowledge to their originating post. Stays are planned to begin in summer 2027 and finish by 2028 (with possible extensions to late 2029 for some 24-month programmes).

Monthly stipend (€3,900), round-trip travel (€1,600), tuition/fees and mandatory health insurance (caps apply), €1,950 for books/installation, family accompaniment allowances including monthly family insurance subsidy and fixed travel allowance for an accompanying family member.

Applicants must be Spanish nationals holding a degree (Grado/Licenciatura/Ingeniería/Arquitectura, Máster or Doctorado), have adequate English for the project, and be career civil servants (subgroup A1 or A2) serving in the Ministry of Industry and Tourism or its affiliated public organisations with at least one year of service in the General State Administration.
