Dr. Heinrich Jörg Foundation Scholarship in Natural Sciences

The Dr. Heinrich Jörg Foundation Scholarship provides project-based financial support for scientific research within the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Graz. It supports research across natural-science disciplines such as physics, chemistry, biology and earth sciences. Awards are made to students and researchers affiliated with the faculty to cover project-specific operational costs.

A one-off grant up to €1500 per project and direct funding of operational research costs; projects share a total budget of €7000 over the funding period.

Applicants must be students or researchers affiliated with the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Graz and conduct a research project in an eligible natural-science discipline. Applicants must not receive third-party funding for the same expenses and must plan the project within the current funding cycle.

Prepare a detailed project proposal and an itemized budget, include a declaration of no double funding and optionally a faculty recommendation, then submit the application directly or via a faculty recommendation for review by the Foundation's committee.
