King's Doctoral Research Studentship 2027

The King’s Doctoral Research Studentship provides funded, full-time PhD studentships at King’s Business School starting in the 2027–2028 academic year. Studentships support research in Economics Research and Management Research and include tuition fee coverage, a stipend and access to training and conference funds. Recipients receive supervision, research training and career preparation through King’s Business School. Teaching and/or marking duties are expected and are paid in addition to the stipend.

Tuition fee coverage (three years), pending submission status fee, tax-free annual stipend (~£23,805 for 2027–2028) for four years, training and conference fund, paid teaching when undertaken, supervision and research training.

All applicants for the full-time PhD programme are eligible, including Home, EU and International students; applicants must be prepared to live in the UK throughout full-time studies (with allowance for short periods overseas for fieldwork).

Identify potential supervisors and arrange an interview stating interest in the studentship; complete an application to the relevant full-time PhD programme via King’s Apply before the studentship deadline.
