Durham Inspiring Excellence Scholarship 2027

The Durham Inspiring Excellence Scholarship 2027 offers tuition fee discounts for international students to pursue eligible full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes at Durham University beginning in September 2027. Awards recognise academic achievement and potential and are aimed at self-funded overseas students. Undergraduate awards provide discounts spread over the programme duration; postgraduate taught awards provide a one-year tuition discount. The award is a tuition fee reduction and cannot be combined with other Durham University scholarships or external sponsorship.

Tuition fee reduction of £5,000 or £10,000; undergraduate totals up to £15,000 or £30,000 over three years for the respective award levels; postgraduate one-year tuition discount of £5,000 or £10,000; access to Durham University's academic environment and student community.

Open to international applicants who are classified as overseas for tuition fee purposes, are self-funded and not in receipt of another scholarship, funding award or sponsorship; applicants must have applied for an eligible full-time, in-person undergraduate programme (with a valid UCAS Personal ID) or an eligible one-year full-time postgraduate taught programme beginning in September 2027.

Submit an academic application to Durham University for an eligible programme and complete the separate scholarship application as required by the university.
