UNDRR Africa Youth Art Competition for International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction 2024

The UNDRR Africa Youth Art Competition is organized to raise awareness of disaster risk reduction among young artists in Africa. Amateurs or professionals aged 18-35 are invited to submit art pieces that fit the IDDRR2024 theme; selected works will be showcased at the Africa Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in Windhoek, Namibia, in October 2024. The competition seeks to amplify youth voices and perspectives on disaster risk reduction through art, with winners and top entries gaining visibility and opportunities to participate in regional events.

The overall winner receives an invitation to attend the Africa Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction with travel and accommodation covered.

Young individuals aged between 18 and 35 from across Africa are invited to participate.
