Global GameLab 2026 Game Development Competition

The Global GameLab 2026 game development competition invites programmers, designers, artists and content creators worldwide to create digital games that promote financial literacy under the theme “Make FinLit Fun.” The competition offers prizes and development support, with opportunities for mentoring and technical feedback, and may include funding to further develop selected projects subject to criteria.

Prizes for top placements, mentorship sessions with experts in game design and development, access to resources and technical feedback during the competition, and potential funding to further develop selected projects.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old by November 15, 2026. The competition is open to participants from all countries worldwide. Participants may enter individually or as part of a team, with no maximum limit on team size; game development studios are eligible; previous Global Game Jam participation is not required.

Submit the game, a concept document or initial Game Design Document, a 2-minute gameplay video, and a proposed budget for further development.
