Cusanuswerk – Stipendium für Promovierende im Aufbaustudium

The Cusanuswerk scholarship funds a research-oriented preparatory phase before a PhD, providing a monthly stipend of 1,650 euros for up to two years. The program targets Catholic students in the early phase of a preparatory postgraduate study and can include additional allowances and support for study-related expenses and international stays.

Open to Catholic students who are admitted to a research-oriented preparatory phase before a PhD; German citizens may study in Germany or abroad, foreign applicants may study at a German university; German language proficiency at C1 is required for foreign applicants; applicants must have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement and active engagement.
