South Dakota Legislative Page Program

The South Dakota Legislative Page Program is a high school leadership opportunity where junior and senior students serve as legislative pages in Pierre during the 2027 session. Participants work in the House of Representatives or the Senate for one of five terms during the main session run from January to March 2027. The program requires sponsorship from a current legislator, a completed application and cover letter, school and parent/guardian permission, and two letters of recommendation.

High school juniors and seniors from any SD school district; a GPA of at least 3.0 is encouraged.
