David Nyhan Prize for Public Policy Journalism 2024

Nominations are invited for the David Nyhan Prize for Public Policy Journalism 2024, which recognizes journalists who illuminate how public policy works and its impact on people. The prize offers two awards: $4,000 for the Public Policy Journalism prize and $1,000 for the Emerging Talent Journalism Prize, with winners invited to speak at an event hosted by the Shorenstein Center.

Prize money and opportunities to participate in speaking events

U.S.-based journalists working in any medium are eligible, including freelancers and self-employed journalists.

Nominators must submit a nomination form and include at least 5 examples of the nominee’s work.
