Metsän puolella -harjoittelija

The Metsän puolella internship is a 3–6 month traineeship within Koneen Säätiö's Metsän puolella initiative focused on forest values and ecologically sustainable practices. The role supports organising stakeholder work related to forest ecological sustainability and legal development and is based primarily in the Helsinki office with some remote work possible. The position begins in March–April 2026 and ends no later than 2026-10-31. The intern will work as part of a small team including a change leader, forest specialist and coordinator.

Monthly salary (2000–2600 EUR), team supervision and experience in stakeholder work and forest policy practice.

Applicants should have some prior experience organising stakeholder work, knowledge of practices that support forests' ecological sustainability and studies in environmental law; initiative, willingness to learn and good interpersonal skills are required. Fluent Finnish and English are required.
