Climate Research and Education to Advancing Green Development in Africa (CREATE-GreenAfrica) 2024

The CREATE-GreenAfrica 2024 scholarship programme funds full degree study for graduate students in Africa, focusing on climate change adaptation, mitigation and environmental sustainability. It targets Masters and PhD students across partner African institutions, with mobility and experience-sharing components under the EU Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme.

Full degree scholarships (Masters and PhDs), monthly stipends, travel insurance, research support and coverage of applicable tuition/fees; opportunities to publish and present research outputs.

Open to all qualified African candidates residing in Africa at the time of application; applicants must be studying at host institutions in Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Ghana, Nigeria or South Africa.

Applications are submitted under the CREATE-GreenAfrica scholarship scheme; selection follows a multi-step process including shortlisting by coordinating and host institutions and final award decisions by the selection committee.
