UK Young Academy

The UK Young Academy is a national network of early career researchers and professionals from across disciplines, convening researchers, innovators, clinicians, academics, entrepreneurs and other professionals. Members collaborate across sectors to tackle societal challenges, shape the organisation's strategy, and contribute to local and global policy discussions. The Academy is a joint initiative involving the Academy of Medical Sciences, British Academy, Learned Society of Wales, Royal Academy of Engineering, Royal Irish Academy, Royal Society of Edinburgh and the Royal Society.

Membership in a national interdisciplinary network, opportunities to collaborate across sectors, a platform to influence policy discussions and to shape the Academy's strategy.

Applicants will be at the early stages of their professional careers and will have made significant contributions to their fields; applicants come from a variety of sectors including research, innovation, clinical practice, academia and entrepreneurship.
