Information

The Prix franco-polonais « Marie Skłodowska-Curie et Pierre Curie » is a binational research prize awarded by the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) and the Académie des sciences that highlights excellence in Franco‑Polish scientific cooperation. It rewards a duo of researchers for outstanding scientific contributions and their future collaborative projects. The laureates receive monetary awards divided between the individuals and their research institutions to support further cooperation. Selection is made by a Franco‑Polish jury appointed by the two organisations.

Benefits

Monetary award of €15,000 per laureate (split €5,000 individual / €10,000 to research organisation) to support Franco‑Polish cooperation.

Eligibility

All active members of the French and Polish scientific community may submit a nomination as a pair; each nomination must be composed of two researchers (one conducting research in Poland and the other in France) and each candidate must hold at least a doctoral degree.

Application

Nominations must be submitted in English electronically via the FNP online platform; required documents include a 3‑page presentation of joint achievements and future projects, a list of up to 10 key publications, CVs (max 2 pages each), and two letters of support (requirements differ for self‑nominations and third‑party nominations).
