Polska Akademia Umiejętności (Polish Academy of Learning) Poland 2026

Information

The Złoty Medal PAU is an award established by the Polish Academy of Learning to recognise outstanding achievements in the popularisation of science. The prize takes the form of an 18-carat gold medal bearing the PAU logo and accompanying diploma. It commemorates Professor Andrzej Kazimierz Zalewski and is funded from the PAU Zalewski Fund. The first laureates were Dr Krzysztof Jasiutowicz and Dr hab. Paweł Jochym for initiating the Polish version of Wikipedia.
