Frankfurter Schreibwettbewerb

The Frankfurter Schreibwettbewerb is an annual writing competition for upper secondary school students in Frankfurt. It offers a space for participants to reflect on societal questions and express personal positions in written form. A jury selects the best contributions which are presented during the Week of Freedom of Expression and at the Frankfurt Book Fair. The project is run in cooperation by the Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft and the Stiftung Freedom of Expression of the Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels.

The programme is aimed at upper secondary (Oberstufe) pupils in Frankfurt.
