Project and Event Funding (Projekt- und Veranstaltungsförderung)

Project and Event Funding is a grant programme of Stiftung Charité to support time‑limited projects and events that benefit Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and its affiliated units. Eligible proposals may come from across the life sciences and university medicine, including research, teaching, healthcare, knowledge and technology transfer. The programme provides low‑threshold initial support for clearly delimited activities, with a maximum funding amount and a typical funding duration of up to 12 months. Funding is awarded to the applicant and their host institution, which administers the granted funds.

Financial grant up to €10,000; institutional administration of awarded funds; eligible coverage of personnel, material and travel costs.

All staff members (Angehörige) of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, including its legally affiliated organisational units (e.g. BIH, DHZC), may submit applications. Projects may be submitted in cooperation with other institutions; publications and pure research projects are generally excluded.
