Clinical Fellows

The Clinical Fellows programme provides funding to experienced physicians who hold major clinical responsibility and demonstrated expertise in patient care. It supports projects inspired by clinical engagement that are expected to bring added value to clinical work and to further clinical-scientific career development. The programme prioritises clinical expertise and contributions to care quality over primarily scientific research, and funds protected time for clinicians to pursue their proposed activities. Funding may comprise personnel and material costs and is aimed at enabling release time from clinical duties.

Up to €75,000 over up to 36 months; funding for personnel and material costs to create protected time; right to use the title “Clinical Fellow, gefördert durch die Stiftung Charité”.

The programme is aimed at experienced and high-performing physicians with major clinical responsibility, including senior consultants (Oberärztinnen/Oberärzte) and experienced specialists (Fachärztinnen/Fachärzte).
