LR Prezidentų vardinės stipendijos

The LR Prezidentų vardinės stipendijos are named presidential scholarships awarded to talented students enrolled in Lithuania's higher education institutions. They are intended for students of the first-cycle (Bachelor), second-cycle (Master) and integrated study programmes who particularly excel in studies, scientific and/or artistic activity. A total of 30 scholarships are awarded. Candidates are nominated by their higher education institutions and proposals are submitted through the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences to the Minister of Education, Science and Sport.

Students of state and non-state higher education institutions enrolled in first-cycle, second-cycle and integrated study programmes; candidates are nominated by their higher education institutions.

Higher education institutions select and nominate candidates; the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences selects candidates and annually submits proposals to the Minister of Education, Science and Sport by June 15.
