L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science (Slovakia) Talent Programme

The L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science (Slovakia) Talent Programme awards three female scientists annually for project excellence and impact. Winners share a monetary endowment allocated for that year and receive media visibility and networking opportunities. Eligible projects must be running in Slovakia and candidates are evaluated by a jury of scientific experts. The programme is run in cooperation with the Slovak Commission for UNESCO, the Slovak Academy of Sciences and the Slovak Organization for Research and Development Activities (SOVVA).

Cash award (total €21,000 in 2026 split among three winners); media coverage and networking opportunities

Women scientists with a PhD degree working on a scientific project running in Slovakia; Slovak nationals and foreign nationals (see rules and regulations for details). Program fields include Physical sciences, Formal sciences, Engineering and Technology, and Life and Environmental sciences.
