About this opportunity
The UNESCO Global Media and Information Literacy Week Youth Hackathon 2024 is a competitive, team-based challenge aligned with the Global MIL Week. Teams of 3-6 members will design innovative solutions across categories such as games, apps/websites, radio programs/podcasts, educational toolkits, or other creative modalities, addressing themes around media literacy, AI challenges, and youth engagement. Winners will be invited to present their projects at the closing ceremony in Amman, Jordan, on October 30-31, 2024.

Eligibility
Teams must comprise 3-6 members, aged between 18 and 30, and align with UNESCO values. No previous experience is required.
How to apply
Submit a document presenting the solution and a 3-minute video pitch, including team composition, problem statement, objectives, audience, prototype explanation, feasibility, sustainability, and deployment strategies.
