Melton Foundation SDG Innovation Challenge 2024

The SDG Innovation Challenge is a virtual, pan-African competition for youth-led startups or projects to develop cross-boundary, sustainable solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. It operates as an ideation space for early-stage teams to pivot their startups with input from diverse sectors, culminating in a showcase of impact-oriented solutions and opportunities for support and visibility.

Prize money, tailored support, access to high-impact networks, and opportunities for global visibility and collaboration.

Teams of 4 to 7 people, youth-led startup or project, 0.5–2 years old, connected to Africa, and able to participate throughout the challenge.

Teams of 4–7 must submit a single application on behalf of the team by the deadline; applications are submitted online.
