Bildung. Macht. Demokratie. – demokratiegeleitet führen is a year-long qualification programme for leaders in early childhood, school and youth educational institutions to develop democratic leadership practices. Participants work in a cohort of 18 over a school year with workshops, two residential academy weeks, peer-to-peer consulting, and individual coaching. The programme is accompanied by experienced trainers and uses a model of democracy-guided leadership to transfer theory into organisational practice. Successful participants receive a certificate.

Participation free of charge (scholarship ~€8,000), accommodation and full board during academy weeks, two individual coachings, peer-to-peer consulting, professional training, networking, certificate upon completion.

The programme is for leadership personnel from Hamburg educational and care institutions with at least three years of management experience and personnel and decision-making responsibility; participants must commit to attending both academy weeks and other programme elements.
