Study of the U.S. Institutes for Secondary Educators (SUSI) — Fulbright Greece

The Study of the U.S. Institutes for Secondary Educators (SUSI) is a five-week intensive academic program for secondary-school educators and administrators, combining a four-week academic residency and a one-week integrated study tour in the United States. Fulbright Greece awards up to two grants for Greek secondary educators and administrators to attend the 2027 SUSI. The program emphasises development of courses or educational materials with an American Studies component and professional development in curriculum, teacher training and textbook writing. Participants are expected to engage full-time and complete all program activities.

Tuition, maintenance allowance, incidental expenses, round-trip international travel, domestic travel and ground transportation during program, housing and meals, limited health/accident coverage, visa assistance and membership in Fulbright alumni networks.

Applicants must hold Greek citizenship (or possess a Greek passport), be assigned to the Greek senior high school system as teachers or administrators, reside permanently in Greece, demonstrate high academic achievement and excellent English proficiency; U.S./Greek dual citizens and candidates in the United States at time of application are ineligible.
