Premi de la Institució

The Premi de la Institució is an annual prize established in 1916 awarded to a person or an entity that has made a decisive contribution through their work to the study, dissemination or development of the cultural, scientific or human values of the Catalan-language territories. A seven-member committee (including the IEC president and secretary-general and one member from each of the five IEC sections) proposes the laureate. The recipient receives a commemorative artistic piece funded by the Diputació de Barcelona and an accrediting diploma.
