Premi de la Societat Catalana d’Història de la Ciència i de la Tècnica (SCHCT)

The SCHCT Prize is awarded to support postgraduate students in the history of science, technology and medicine. It is offered for unpublished master's final projects in those fields. The prize includes a monetary award and a diploma, and the winner is expected to publish an adapted version of the research as an article in the journal Actes d’Història de la Ciència i de la Tècnica.

€800 monetary prize and a diploma; publication of an adapted article in Actes d’Història de la Ciència i de la Tècnica is required.

Applicants must have defended a master's final project in the areas of history of science, medicine or technology at a university of the Xarxa Vives within the last three years. Submitted works must be unpublished.

Applications are submitted electronically via the IEC form with attachments (short statement in Catalan with title and up to four-page summary, the thesis PDF, academic transcript, short CV and motivation statement). The signed confirmation of online submission must be sent to premis@iec.cat with a copy to schct@iec.cat.
