A set of prizes established in 2026 for primary school science projects in which experimentation and chemistry have a significant role. Three categories are offered (1st–2nd, 3rd–4th, 5th–6th primary) with awards for projects written in Catalan, submitted individually or in groups of up to five. Prizes include a classroom periodic table and €200 in laboratory materials; the 5th–6th category also includes an educational activity for a group of thirty people. Winners and their tutors receive a diploma and non‑monetary mentions may also be awarded.

Projects from primary education submitted and graded during the 2025–2026 school year or up to January 2027 of the current course. Projects must be written in Catalan, may be individual or in groups up to five, must have a minimum qualification of 'excellent', and no more than three works per school may be entered in each category.

Submissions via the online form on the IEC website with the project in Word or PDF and a tutor‑signed report in PDF stating the project grade. The online submission receipt must be sent signed to premis@iec.cat. Maximum file size per file 100 MB.
