Schering Partnerschulen

Schering Partnerschulen is a three-year partnership programme selecting four Berlin schools with a gymnasiale Oberstufe to strengthen science education, particularly life sciences. The foundation supports selected schools with an annual package of measures including financial support, guest lectures, invitations to prize ceremonies and networking for coordinating teachers. The partnership is initially planned for 2027–2029 and is reviewed annually.

Annual school lecture by prize winners or fellows; invitations for selected pupils to foundation prize ceremonies; up to €2,000 per year per school to support biology/chemistry activities; annual networking meeting for coordinating teachers.

All Berlin schools with a gymnasiale Oberstufe, regardless of school type or sponsorship, may apply. Schools should demonstrate engagement or potential in science, particularly biological sciences.

Schools submit an online application form between 2026-09-15 and 2026-10-31 including a short school profile (max. 2,000 characters), description of past activities and development ideas (max. 4,000 characters), contact person (coordinating teacher) and a representative of the school management.
