The Poland – U.S. Science Award

The Poland – U.S. Science Award recognises outstanding achievements accomplished through Polish–American scientific cooperation. It is granted to two collaborating scientists (one affiliated with a Polish research institution and the other with a U.S. research institution) on the basis of a competition. The award covers the entire spectrum of scientific research excluding art. Awardees each receive $5,000 as recognition for their achievements.

Monetary award of $5,000 to each laureate

Candidates must hold a doctoral degree and be collaborating scientists, one working at a Polish research institution and the other at a U.S. research institution. All active members of the Polish and American scientific community holding a doctoral degree, or researchers or research administrators at universities or R&D institutions, may nominate candidates; self-nominations are considered.

Nominations in English submitted electronically to plusaward@fnp.org.pl. Complete nomination includes a nominator's acknowledgement describing the joint achievement and its impact, curricula vitae and relevant publication lists for both scientists, and one letter of support (two for self-nominations).
