STINT International Postdoc

STINT International Postdoc is a postdoctoral fellowship that enables researchers who recently obtained their PhDs at Swedish higher education institutions to pursue a sustained postdoctoral research stay at an institution abroad. The stipend supports at least one year abroad outside the EU/EFTA/UK and cannot be used in a country of the stipend holder's prior academic degree or citizenship. The programme aims to strengthen Swedish research by expanding researchers' international experience, independence and networks.

Stipend covering living/research costs (SEK 1,000,000 for at least one year) and possible family supplements (SEK 100,000 per accompanying family member, up to two).

Applicants must have obtained their PhDs at Swedish higher education institutions no more than two years before the application deadline, or be scheduled to defend their PhDs within one year of the application deadline. The postdoctoral stay must take place at a higher education institution outside the EU/EFTA/UK and cannot be spent in a country from which the stipend holder has a previous academic degree or citizenship.
