Discovery Research PhD Studentship

The Discovery Research PhD Studentship is a doctoral studentship funded by the British Heart Foundation to support three years of PhD research. Studentships provide a student stipend, tuition fees at the standard home student rate, research consumables and travel funding to attend relevant scientific meetings. Applications must be made by an established investigator who will act as the named primary supervisor and propose a named student and project.

Applications must be made by an established investigator who will be the primary supervisor for a named student; the primary supervisor must have previously supervised a student to completion or near completion and devote a minimum of 10% of their time to supervision. Student entry requirements include an awarded or expected 1st class or high upper 2nd class BSc degree, or an MSc with merit or distinction.
