Information

The Arfvedson-Schlenk-Preis is a scientific prize recognising outstanding work in lithium chemistry. It is awarded to researchers who have made significant contributions to the chemistry of lithium and its compounds. The prize was established in 1997 in cooperation with Chemetall and is currently sponsored by Albemarle Germany GmbH. The award includes a monetary prize, a medal and a certificate.

Eligibility

The prize is awarded to scientists for outstanding work in the field of lithium chemistry.

Application

Awarding decided by a selection committee with three to four GDCh members and two Albemarle staff; the call and selection are carried out in coordination with Albemarle.
