Heinz-Schmidkunz-Preis

The Heinz-Schmidkunz-Preis is an award recognizing persons who have made special contributions to chemistry didactics, the training of chemistry teachers, and chemistry teaching at schools. The prize honours work that advances practice-oriented chemistry instruction and the development of research-based teaching methods. It has been awarded since 2015 and is presented in odd-numbered years.

€7,500 prize and a certificate.

Awarded to individuals who have rendered special services to research in chemistry didactics, to the training of chemistry teachers, or to chemistry teaching in schools.
