The Award for Excellent Supervisors of Chinese PhD Students recognises university teachers in Germany who supervise Chinese doctoral candidates. It is presented jointly by the Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh) and the Gesellschaft Chinesischer Chemiker und Chemieingenieure in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland (GCCCD). The prize was established in 2017 and is accompanied by a monetary award and a certificate. Laureates are announced annually.
