Bayer Pharmaceuticals PhD Prize

The Bayer Pharmaceuticals PhD Prize recognises outstanding doctoral theses in the field of biochemistry and molecular biology. It is awarded annually by the Gesellschaft für Biochemie und Molekularbiologie e. V. and sponsored by Bayer Pharmaceuticals. Winners receive a monetary endowment and are required to accept the prize in person and give a short lecture at the prize ceremony held on the occasion of the Mosbach Kolloquia.

Monetary prize of €1,500; winners must receive the prize in person and give a short lecture at the ceremony.

Outstanding PhD thesis at a German university or university of applied sciences within the last two years prior to the award ceremony; proposals or self-applications are possible.

Proposal or self-application; application announcement published in issue 5 of Biospektrum in the year before the award ceremony.
