GBM Innovation Award

The GBM Innovation Award recognises a young scientist who is developing or has developed a novel and innovative method in biochemistry, molecular biology or cell biology. The prize is awarded annually by the Study Groups "Receptors & Signal Transduction" and "Biochemical Pharmacology & Toxicology" of the Gesellschaft für Biochemie und Molekularbiologie (GBM). Winners receive a monetary endowment and are required to receive the prize in person and give a short lecture or present a poster during the annual meeting of the Signal Transduction Society.

Monetary prize of 500 €; winner must receive the prize in person and give a short lecture or present a poster at the Signal Transduction Society annual meeting.

The prize is granted to a young scientist (diploma, master, MD or PhD student or postdoc in their first years) who is developing or has developed a novel and innovative method.

Proposal or self-application: submit a single PDF with cover letter, CV, abstract, brief project description and a brief comment from the supervisor to the contact email.
