Open Option (Churchill Fellowship)

The Open Option is an application route within the Churchill Fellowship for individuals with project ideas that do not fit the organisation's focused programmes. Applicants outline a project, its objectives and the impact they hope to achieve, and explain how learning from around the world will be applied to create real-world change in the UK. Applicants may self-select whether their project aligns with the sub-theme 'Governance and public provision' or the general Open Option for panel assignment.

Individuals with project ideas that meet the Churchill Fellowship's general criteria and who can demonstrate how international learning will be applied to effect change in the UK.

Apply via the Churchill Fellowship application form, outlining the project, objectives and intended impact; self-select the relevant sub-theme; follows the same process as the focused programmes.
