Azrieli Graduate Studies Fellowship

The Azrieli Graduate Studies Fellowship is a graduate-level fellowship for students at Israeli universities awarded on the basis of outstanding academic merit and exceptional personal achievement. Fellows are expected to maintain high academic standards, engage in community volunteer service, and participate in program-sponsored events that foster interdisciplinary interaction and leadership. The program provides a monthly stipend and additional research funds and supports participation in a network of scholars and alumni activities. Students must be nominated by an accredited academic institution to apply.

Monthly stipend (ILS 9,000), annual research funds (ILS 14,000 or 20,000), coverage of travel expenses for approved volunteer activity, participation in program events and networking, alumni support and visibility for publications acknowledging the Foundation.

Graduate students at Israeli universities in the fields and at the degree levels outlined in the program’s guidelines are eligible; applicants must be nominated by an accredited academic institution. Fellowships are awarded on the basis of academic merit, potential for contribution to the field, personal merit and leadership abilities.
