University of British Columbia Visiting Student Program

The University of British Columbia Visiting Student Program allows students to enrol in undergraduate courses at UBC's Vancouver or Okanagan campuses for a term or summer session. It is for students who are currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program or recent graduates from a recognized post-secondary institution and in good academic standing. Registration is subject to course availability and some restrictions on course enrolment for visiting students. The programme includes coordination with UBC Go Global for course registration, pre-departure webinars and orientations.

Ability to enrol in undergraduate courses at UBC Vancouver or Okanagan; access to pre-departure webinars and orientations; facilitation by a UBC Representative and UBC Go Global for registration and next steps.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at a recognized institution or have recently graduated from a recognized post-secondary institution and be in good academic standing. A letter of permission from the home university is required if still enrolled.

Submit an application through the EducationPlannerBC (EPBC) website, connect with a UBC Representative to submit required documents (letter of permission or proof of degree completion, transcript, proof of English ability, preferred course list, confirmation of visiting duration); upon admission the UBC Representative coordinates with UBC Go Global for registration and orientation.
