INAE Woman Engineer of the Year Award

The INAE Woman Engineer of the Year Award recognises and honours women engineers who have made outstanding contributions to engineering and technology in India and who may serve as role models. The award is bestowed annually on individual women engineers across three categories: Academia, Industry and R&D. Recipients receive a cash award and a citation and are presented the award during the Academy Annual Convention. Nominations are invited from INAE Fellows and are evaluated by a Selection Committee.

Cash award of Rs. 2 lakhs and a citation; presentation at the Academy Annual Convention.

Woman engineers working in India, aged between 40 and 60 years; the nominee must be a citizen of India. The nominee need not be an INAE Fellow; self-nomination is not permitted. If the nominee is an INAE Fellow, she must not be a member of the INAE Governing Council during the year of the award.

Nominations invited from INAE Fellows only, to be submitted by the nominating Fellow via the registered INAE email ID to inaehq@inae.in using the prescribed Proforma for Nomination. Self-nomination is not accepted.
