INAE Young Engineer Award

The INAE Young Engineer Award recognises outstanding achievements and contributions by young engineers in any branch of engineering in India. Awardees receive a cash prize and a certificate and are inducted as INAE Young Associates until attaining 45 years of age. Up to 30 awardees may be selected each year and are invited to the INAE Annual Convention in December for the conferment and induction.

Cash prize of Rs 25,000; certificate; induction as INAE Young Associate until age 45; invitation to INAE Annual Convention for conferment.

Any citizen of India not older than 35 years as on 1st January each year (women eligible for age relaxation of five years). Nominees must hold at least one degree in engineering/technology (Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D). Nominations are valid for one year and a candidate may be nominated up to three times subject to the age limit.

Nominations must be sponsored by a Fellow of INAE or head of the nominee's organisation. Ink-signed scanned nominations endorsed by the sponsor should be forwarded through the sponsor's official email to inaehq@inae.in. Hard copies and reprints are not required.
