Becas Empieza por Educar

Becas Empieza por Educar is a scholarship programme run in collaboration between Fundación Iberdrola España and Fundación Empieza por Educar within the STEM 4 GRLS initiative. It selects graduates to teach for two academic years in disadvantaged schools while receiving an extensive programme of pedagogical and leadership development. The programme aims to accelerate fellows' professional careers and build a network that promotes educational equity.

Two years teaching placement in disadvantaged schools; an extensive professional development programme in teaching and leadership; accompaniment/mentoring; connection to a professional network to accelerate careers.

The programme attracts and selects graduates with the aptitude and commitment to become teachers and to work for educational transformation; selected participants teach for two school years in disadvantaged schools.
