DeLill Nasser Award for Professional Development in Genetics

The DeLill Nasser Award for Professional Development in Genetics is a monetary award that supports geneticists in their graduate or postdoctoral career stages by subsidizing participation in conferences and laboratory courses. The award provides $1,000 to help recipients attend courses or conferences that will enhance their professional development in genetics. It is administered by the Genetics Society of America and is awarded in two cycles per year (Spring and Fall).

GSA members who are graduate students or postdocs may apply. Only those with current membership in either the graduate student or postdoc category can access the application form. Post-baccalaureates, lab technicians, or individuals no longer postdocs are not eligible.

Applicants must provide personal information, a CV, two references (letters due same day as application), and several short statements including justification of requested amount; postdocs provide a description of graduate research experience.
