GSA Undergraduate Travel Awards

The GSA Undergraduate Travel Awards provide travel funding to support undergraduate members who are presenting at and attending a Genetics Society of America (GSA) conference. Awards are intended to cover travel costs to enable participation in GSA conferences. Applications require a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s research PI, professor, or supervisor. The awards are offered in two application rounds each year for conferences occurring in the first and second halves of the calendar year.

Applicants must be undergraduate GSA members. Recipients may only use the award to fund their travel to GSA conferences.

Apply via the GSA application form when the application period opens; applications must include a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s research PI, professor, or supervisor.
