Senior Professional Awards

The Senior Professional Awards recognize outstanding contributions to ornithological science. Nominations are reviewed by the Senior Professional Awards Committee and recommended to the AOS Council for approval. The committee seeks a balanced annual slate of nominees representing diversity within the Society and the field. Self-nominations are accepted and current AOS officers serving on the Executive Committee of Council are ineligible.

Nomination submitted via AOS member portal; nominations are reviewed by the Senior Professional Awards Committee and recommended to AOS Council.
